DONATE TODAY

Transform lives in Acadiana by donating your gently used items at one of our six attended Donation Centers, 11 retail stores, or three specialty stores in Acadiana. The sale of your donations provides job training, adult HiSET education classes, crisis assistance, supported employment, and affordable housing for the elderly and disabled.

Goodwill donations

What We Accept

Clothing & Accessories

All seasons of men's, women's, children's and infant's clothing, shoes and accessories.

Furniture

Antiques, dining tables and chairs, bedroom furniture, living room furniture, desks, and baby furniture (exception: cribs & car seats).

Household Items

Cookware, dishes, silverware, glassware, pictures, luggage, sheets, pillowcases, mattress pads, blankets, comforters, curtains, drapes, and towels.

Sports Equipment

Tennis rackets, basketballs and goals, golf clubs and bags, exercise equipment, bikes, scooters, etc.

Appliances

Toasters, radios, stereo systems, electric frying pans, irons, mixers, blenders, vacuum cleaners, lamps, fans, coffee pots, can openers, humidifiers, and telephones.

Used Vehicles

Used cars, trucks, motor homes, motorcycles, and boats. Contact Goodwill's Opportunity Campus for more info

What We Cannot Accept

We apologize, but we are not able to accept recalled items, mattresses, or large appliances due to health and safety regulations. In order to be good stewards of your donations, we partner with SOFA for mattresses and ReStore for large appliances. Please contact these organizations in regards to these particular items.

ABOUT US

Goodwill Acadiana offers programs to help those facing a variety of barriers by providing free employment services and adult education classes to those in need. Our HiSET course helps students earn their high school equivalency diploma, while our employment services offer resume and cover letter writing, job searches, and interviewing skills. Goodwill Acadiana strives to be a place where people can improve their quality of life.
